Sora Video Generation
OpenAI's Sora is an advanced AI video generation tool that transforms textual descriptions into high-definition videos. Launched in December 2024, Sora enables users to create realistic or imaginative scenes by simply inputting descriptive prompts.

Sora is accessible to subscribers of ChatGPT Plus and ChatGPT Pro. Plus subscribers can generate up to 50 priority videos monthly, each up to 720p resolution and 5 seconds in duration. Pro subscribers have access to up to 500 priority videos monthly, with capabilities including 1080p resolution, 20-second duration's, and the option to download videos without watermarks.
As of February 28, 2025, OpenAI has expanded Sora's availability to users in the UK.
ChatGTP Deep Research
OpenAI's Deep Research is an advanced AI feature within ChatGPT designed to perform comprehensive, multi-step investigations using real-time internet data. Launched in early February 2025, it leverages the capabilities of OpenAI's o3 reasoning model to autonomously search, interpret, and analyse information from diverse online sources. This enables the generation of thorough, well-documented reports on complex topics within a timeframe of 5 to 30 minutes.

Autonomous Web Exploration: Deep Research can independently navigate the internet, accessing and evaluating a wide range of data to construct detailed reports.
Advanced Reasoning and Analysis: Utilising the o3 model, it excels in understanding and synthesising complex information, providing nuanced insights.
Comprehensive Reporting: The tool compiles information into coherent reports, complete with citations, facilitating easy verification and further exploration.
Access and Availability:
Initially, Deep Research was exclusive to ChatGPT Pro subscribers, offering up to 100 queries per month. As of late February 2025, OpenAI expanded access to include ChatGPT Plus, Team, Education, and Enterprise users, each receiving 10 Deep Research queries monthly.
ChatGTP Operator
OpenAI's Operator is an AI agent designed to autonomously perform a variety of web-based tasks on behalf of users. Launched in January 2025, Operator can navigate websites, fill out forms, make purchases, and manage online activities by interacting with web interfaces much like a human would—using mouse clicks, scrolling, and typing.

Automated Online Interactions: Operator can handle repetitive browser tasks such as ordering groceries, booking travel arrangements, and filling out forms, thereby streamlining daily online activities.
User Intervention for Sensitive Actions: For tasks requiring personal information, logins, or payment details, Operator is designed to request user input, ensuring security and privacy are maintained.

Access and Availability:
Initially available to ChatGPT Pro subscribers in the United States, Operator has expanded its reach. As of February 2025, it is accessible to Pro users in the United Kingdom, with plans for further regional expansions. The Pro subscription is priced at $200 per month, granting users access to Operator's full suite of features.

Nothing is official the internet is full of rumours that ChatGTP 5.0 is going to arrive in May 2025. Sam Altman at the start of 2025 said OpenAI knows “how to build AGI as we have traditionally understood it,” with “superintelligence” as the next goal.
OpenAI will have competition. At I/O 2024 last May, Demis Hassabis reiterated that DeepMind’s goal is “building AGI: Artificial general intelligence, a system that has human-level cognitive capabilities.”
The New York Times reported on an internal memo sent by Sergey Brin to the Gemini team on Wednesday 26th February 2025.
